We loved Super 8, and Elle Fanning was a good reason why.  The younger sister of Dakota Fanning stepped into her own light this year, standing out not just in that terrific picture but also with a sartorial elegance beyond her years.

As the gorgeous Miranda Kerr demonstrates, the flapper dress is making a swinging comeback at Christian Dior, as well we hear at the houses of Chanel, Gucci and Louis Vuitton.  Since the flapper dress is synonymous with the Roaring 20's, we hope this means we're due for an economic boom.
